We stopped by and talked to the folks at Thunderstick about cowboy shooting and took some pictures to help everyone see what they have at the shop. Please enjoy this quick review of a unique and interesting gun shop in Tucson, Arizona and take a trip to find and visit the store.

One of our favorite folding knives, the Benchmade 550 Griptilian is very well made, useful and easy to use. This one has been set up to be used with the left hand. This knife weighs just 3.25 ounces so it is very easy to carry every day in a pocket or in a bag. The thumb hole on the back of the blade lets you open it with a flick of the thumb

Just took a close look at the new Glock field knife. It is a lot different than my first one (green in the photos). The first Glock knife is from the late 1980s the black Glock knife is new 2008 (approx) manufacture. From a few feet away they look the same but up close side by side there are many differences. the Glock field knife sheaths are also quite different.

What is not so obvious in the photos are the differences in polymer these are made from. The older Glock Field Knife is a smoother green material, the newer 2008 version is a softer material that seems to grip the skin and does not feel as slippery as the older material.
